Dr. Caskey graduated with honors from Baylor College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. During his four years in dental school, Dr. Caskey was recognized on the Dean's Honor List each year and inducted into the Odontological Honor Society. He obtained his Masters of Science in Orthodontics from St. Louis University and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Caskey is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, The American and Texas Dental Association, and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Caskey graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Computer information Systems from Texas State University. He actively participates in continuing education programs and because of his computer background, he has incorporated state of the art technology into his orthodontic services, including laser soft-tissue procedures, temporary anchorage devices, self ligating brackets, digital x-rays, and CBCT scan images to aid in a more accurate diagnosis of complex situations. Dr. Caskey is married to his wife Judy and they have two children, Madelyn and Ryan. ![]() When asked why he became an orthodontist, Dr. Caskey reflects that after spending eight years in the business world, he discovered that it was difficult to gain a sense of satisfaction from his computer work. Dr. Caskey had always dreamed of being an orthodontist as he went through treatment in his adolescent years. "I always remembered my orthodontist as a person that seemed to truly enjoy his job." With the support of his wife Judy, they decided that going back to school was the only choice. He returned to school at the age of 30 and completed his training 9 years later. Dr. Caskey truly loves his work and strives to provide the best care possible for each of his patients. Having the experience of a previous career has given Dr. Caskey the ability to know that there is no profession better suited for him than orthodontics. |
